    Wednesday afternoon at four o'clock at St. Mary's church occurred the marriage of Marcella B Quinn, eldest daughter of Thomas Quinn of Kirkland and Daniel H Pryor. The bride wore a becoming toilet of white brilliantine trimmed with lace and silk and carried a bouquet of bridal roses she wore a veil of white silk mull. The maid of honor, Ms. Lillian E Pryor wore white dotted swiss and black velvet picture hat and carried pink roses. John Quinn acted as best man and Andrew Maloney and Thomas Nolan of Clark Mills as ushers. Immediately after the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's father, only the immediate friends and relatives being present. Mr. and Mrs. Pryor were the recipients of many beautiful and costly presents, among which were cut glass, china, silverware, linen, furniture and money. After a short trip, Mr. and Mrs. Pryor will be at home to their friends in Clark Mills.

    New York state death Certificate #56753 states that James Pryor died on October 16,1921 in Lairdsville Oneida County of Acute Nephritis at the age of 91 years, 7 months. the death certificate information was provided by Margaret Pryor (his daughter) The undertaker was W Authenrith of Middleville , NY. Clinton Courier (October 19, 1921). "In the death of Daniel James Pryor which occurred on Saturday evening the community lost one of he pioneer residents and one who enjoyed the esteem and respect of all who knew him." From the obituary: " Daniel james Pryor dies on October 16 at the family home in Lairdsville. He was born in Ireland 91 years ago. He married Margaret Robinson and in 1853 the couple came to America to make their home. From that time, Mr. Pryor resided in this immediate vicinity where he was a successful farmer, His wife dies some twenty years ago. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clinton New York. At the time of his death, we was survived by five of his children: Thomas J.; William C.; Daniel H.; Margaret E Pryor and Mrs. Martin Caraher. Daniel James Pryor was buried on October 19, 1921 in section 2, lot 19. `
